Program Operations Contract Analyst

Summary

MS Transverse is looking for a dynamic and engaging Program Operations Contract Analyst who is looking for an opportunity to join an industry-leading Property and Casualty insurance carrier focused on partnering with Reinsurers, MGAs/Program Administrators, and Insurtechs. 

We provide access to commercial and personal lines utilizing our admitted and non-admitted capabilities across all 50 states. You would join a deeply experienced and broadly talented operating team where your experience and drive will become instrumental in further growing our business. 

The Program Operations Contract Analyst plays an important role within the organization, ensuring that our various contracts are consistent with negotiated terms and conditions and reflect our corporate risk appetite. The Program Operations Contract Analyst will ensure the work they do is concise, accurate, and complete. 

Responsibilities
  • Review/edit/create/interpret program Contracts and Amendments to accurately memorialize negotiated terms
  • Working knowledge of standard contract wordings and the ability to identify and analyze agreements and contract provisions
  • Collaborate closely with Program Managers, MGAs, and Program Administrators throughout the entire contract process, from initiation to completion
  • Oversee the contract management system and ensure all executed Contracts and Amendments are accurately uploaded
  • Maintain positive relationships and act as the liaison between Transverse and external partners
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Assist in additional projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Five+ years’ experience working on contract wording 
  • Meaningful knowledge of contract terms and conditions, reinsurance and familiarity with insurance coverages and regulatory requirements 
  • Technical and/or analytic experience that can be adapted to current technology 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Analytical, decision making, problem resolution and organizational skills 
  • Bachelor’s Degree (job-related majors/fields of study a plus) ARe or CPCU a plus 
  • Advanced degrees/job-related designations a plus
