IT Administrator

Summary 

 We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator to manage and maintain our company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and security of systems, networks, and hardware. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot technical issues, implement security protocols, and support employees with IT-related needs. 

Responsibilities 

• Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems. 
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control in Active Directory and other platforms. 
• Monitor system performance, backups, and security updates to ensure reliability. 
• Support end-users by diagnosing and resolving technical issues via helpdesk requests. 
• Install and configure new servers, workstations, and network devices. 
• Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect company data and infrastructure. 
• Oversee software licensing and updates, ensuring compliance with company policies. 
• Collaborate with vendors for IT services, hardware procurement, and troubleshooting. 
• Maintain documentation of IT processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides. 
• Assist in IT projects such as cloud migrations, system upgrades, and automation. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• 3+ years of experience in IT administration, system support, or network management. 
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace). 
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and enterprise security solutions. 
• Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and cybersecurity best practices. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team. 
• Strong communication skills to support non-technical users effectively. 
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in IT project management. 
• Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation. 
• Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
