Programs Data Support Analyst
Summary
As a Programs Data Support Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that data from MS Transverse’s Delegated Underwriting Authority (“DUA”) partners is made available for internal users in a timely manner and this role will be focused specifically on the MST Claims Data. You will track inbound reports to ensure that they comply with contractually agreed timelines and reporting requirements and will work with internal and external stakeholders to triage, track, and resolve any issues with received data. You will help ensure the data is uploaded and available across the enterprise for senior business leaders and others.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with the program management team, and external MGA and TPA partners worldwide to align on bordereaux file formats and delivery methods, including discussions around data requirements aligned to internally established data templates and timelines.
- Coordinating the management and oversight of bordereaux files; tracking the delivery and processing of files received from our MGA / TPA partners.
- Performing initial validation checks and triaging issues.
- Oversee work and provide direction to offshore processing team.
- Ensuring that we are building the necessary reconciliation reports and that we are effectively generating insights from the platform.
- Loading monthly reports to data processing tools and running models to obtain aggregated data sets.
- Ensuring monthly reports and aggregated data sets are made available for internal stakeholders.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve any data mapping or data quality issues in time to meet strict monthly deadlines.
- Maintaining and publishing a scorecard to show how the timeliness and quality of submitted reports compares month over month.
- Escalating issues and tracking production errors through resolution.
- Supporting data mapping and implementation efforts for new programs.
- Assisting Data Team leadership to support other stakeholder requests as needed.
- Interacting with senior leaders to understand and deliver on their management information needs.
- Leading delivery and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in commercial specialty insurance.
- Prior data analysis or data management experience.
- Experience in the program environment at a P&C carrier or at an MGA or MGU.
- Comfort level with Cloud-based technologies.
- Willingness to work to strict deadlines. Comfortable with periods of peak activity.
- Strong MS Excel skills. Comfortable working with large data sets.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong customer service ethic and willingness to work to ensure good relationships are maintained with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload in response to changing circumstances.
- Must be flexible, with the ability to work effectively as a part of team to achieve departmental and/or company goals.
